Hello again,

As promised here is a picture of the Cardinal Run North plan. Go to http://www.cook-imaging.com/LYSA/original.htm and you will see how the park was originally planned when it was approved by the surrounding neighborhoods, including Wellesley Heights, in 1998. Then by clicking on the image (left mouse button) you can see where we are proposing putting our soccer fields. Finally, by clicking on the ?Go to Map? link you will see a map showing where the new park is located.

At the LFUCG meeting, the council asked that all parties involved get together and try to work out a compromise.  We have since met with the affected neighborhoods and have discussed further changes to satisfy them as best we can without overburdening ourselves in the process. Those changes have been incorporated into the pictures referenced above.

In the meantime please contact your council person and let them know of your support for LYSA?s use of the Cardinal Run North park and how important it is for us to move quickly and start work on those fields so we can begin play as soon as possible. Also let them know how hard LYSA has worked to accommodate its neighbors and how they should encourage the neighborhoods to try and accommodate us as well.

Finally, don?t forget that we are scheduled to go back before Council when they return from their summer break and there may be a hearing before that as well. We will need your strong support again at both of those meetings. When we have the information on those meetings, we will pass it along.

Thanks again for you support,

Larry Cook

LYSA President
